Ünlü Arap şairi el-Mutenebbî’nin Mısır’da iken yakalandığı humma hastalığından bahsettiği bu şiiri, Arap şiir tarihinde ele aldığı konu yönünden nadir eserlerden biridir ve bu şiiri birçok eleştiriler de almıştır. Bu çalışmada şiiri Türkçeye çevirerek edebî yönden de incelemeye çalışıyoruz. Şiirde ortaya çıkan ruh hâlini tartışabilmemiz için önce el-Mutenebbî’nin kısa hayat hikâyesi ve edebî kişiliğini ele aldık, bu şaire tesir eden ortamdan kısaca bahsettik.

This poem of famous poet al-Motanabbi, in which Motanabbi mentioned from fever he was catched in Egypt, is one of the precious works in the Arap Poem History from the point of topic it deal with and this poem has been criticed by many. İn this essay we are also trying to investigate this poem from literary aspect by translating the poem to Turkish. To discuss the spirit stuation coming into light in the poem, we firstly dealt with a short life story and literal personality of al-Motanabbî and we mentioned from the condition effecting this poem.
