BİR ÜNİVERSİTE HASTANESİNDE ÇALIŞAN HEMŞİRELERİN ARAŞTIRMA YAPMA VE ARAŞTIRMA SONUÇLARINI BAKIMDA KULLANMA İLE İLGİLİ GÖRÜŞLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Amaç: Bu araştırma hemşirelerin araştırma yapma ve araştırma sonuçlarını bakımda kullanma ile ilgili görüşlerini incelemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapıldı. Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemini Sivas’da bir üniversite hastanesinde çalışan toplam 237 hemşire oluşturdu. Araştırmanın verileri araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan bir soru formu ile toplandı. Veriler frekans dağılımı ve ki-kare testi ile değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Çalışmada hemşirelerin %45.6’ sının herhangi bir araştırma sürecinde yer aldığı, %80.6’sının hasta bakımında araştırma sonuçlarını kullandığı, yalnızca %4.6’sının Hemşirelikte Araştırma ve Geliştirme Derneği’ne üye olduğu, %11.4’ünün düzenli olarak süreli yayın takip ettiği, %78.9’unun en az bir kez mesleki bilimsel bir toplantıya katıldığı ve %84.8’inin bilgisayar kullanmayı bildiği belirlenmiştir. THE VIEWS OF NURSES, ABOUT CARRYING OUT RESEARCH AND UTILIZATION OF RESEARCH RESULTS IN NURSING CARE IN A UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Objectives: This study was carried out to determine nurses’ views about researching and whether nurses utilize research’s results in nursing care or not as descriptively. Methods: The sample of this study consists of 237 nurses working in a university hospital in Sivas. Findings of this research are collected with a questionnaire that is prepared by researchers. Data were evaluated by frequency distribution and Chi-Square test. Results: This study is shown that 45.6 % of nurses participate in any research process and 80.6 % of them have used the results of researches on nursing care. Moreover, only 4.6 % of nurses are members of HEMAR-G association, 11.4% of them read professional journal orderly and 78.9% of nurses join a scientific meeting at least one time about their professions. In addition, it was found that 84.8 % of this population knows using a computer.
