Bez Dermatiti ve Hemşirelik Bakımı

Öz Bez dermatiti, bebek ve küçük çocuklarda bezin altında kalan bölgede sürtünme, nem artışı, idrar ve gaitanın cilde teması gibi hazırlayıcı faktörlerin etkisiyle cildin bariyer işlevinin bozulması sonucu ortaya çıkan önemli bir cilt problemidir. Çocuklarda ciddi bir ağrı ve rahatsızlık oluşturduğundan, gelişimleri için önemli olan yeme ve uyku alışkanlıklarında da sorunlara neden olmaktadır. Bez dermatitinin tedavisi ile ilgili yapılmış birçok hemşirelik çalışması bulunmaktadır. Sık gelişen bu problemin çözümünde hemşirelerin; bez dermatitinin oluşumu hakkında bilgi sahibi olması, bez dermatitinden korunma ve tedavide doğru bakım uygulamalarını bilmesi aynı zamanda bakım planlarına entegre etmesi ve ebeveynlere verdikleri eğitimler oldukça yarar sağlamaktadır

Diaper Dermatitis and Nursing Care

Diaper dermatitis is an important skin disorder caused by deterioration of the barrier function of the skin in infants and children under the effect of preparative factors such as friction, increased hydration, urine and stool contact. As it causes serious pain and discomfort in children, it also causes disruption in eating and sleeping habits that are important for their development. There are many nursing researches about treatment of diaper dermatitis. In the solution of this common problem, nurses; having knowledge about the pathogenesis of diaper dermatitis, knowing the appropriate care practices in the prevention and treatment of diaper dermatitis and integrating them into nursing care plans and parent educations are very beneficial.
