Duygusal Zekaya Etki Eden Demografik Faktörlerin Saptanmasına Yönelik Ampirik Bir Çalışma

Bu çalışma ile öğrencilerin duygusal zekalarına etki eden demografik faktörler ampirik olarak araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla Hacettepe Üniversitesi İşletme Bölümünden 220 öğrenciye Schutte ve arkadaşlarının (1998) hazırlamış oldukları duygusal zeka soru ölçeği uygulanmış ve veriler SPSS paket programı aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Ulaşılan sonuçlara göre duygusal zeka ile cinsiyet ve sahip olunan kardeş sayısı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur.

An Empirical Study for Determining the Demographic Factors that have Effect on Emotional Intelligence

With this study, demographic factors that have effects on students' emotional intelligence have been investigated. With this regard, the question form which had been prepared by Schutte et al. (1998) have been applied on 220 students from Hacettepe University, Department of Business Administration. The data have been analysed with SPSS computer program. According to the results, meaningful relationships have been found between emotional intelligence and gender and number of brother/sister.
