ÖzetAmaç: Samsun halkının, cinsiyete göre, resim sanatına yönelik beğenidüzeylerini konu ve üslup bakımından araştırmaktadır.Yöntem: Ömeklemi randam olarak seçilen 300 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Sekizüsluptan (Klasik, Empresyonist, Ekspresyonist, Kübist, Soyut, Minyatür, Rokokü,Naif) altı ayrı konuyu (Savaş, Portre, Peyzaj, Dini, Natürmort, Figüratif) içerenresimler tespit edilip fotoğrafları çekilerek 44 fotoğraflık bir albümoluşturulmuştur. Ayrıca bilgi toplamak amacıyla "Kişisel Bilgi Anketi" ve "BeğeniFormu" geliştirilmiş ve uygulanmıştır. 300 kişi 1800 tercihte bulunmuşturBulgular: Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen genel verilere göre en çokbeğenilen üsluplar sırasıyla Empresyonist, Klasik ve Naifdir. Buna karşılık Soyut,Ekspresyonist ve Kübist üslupların beğenilmediği görülmektedir. Konularıbakımından da peyzaj, fıgüratif ve savaş konulu resimlerin beğeniidiği: portre,natürmort ve konusu belirtilmemiş (isimsiz) resimlerin beğrnilmediği ortayaçıkmıştır. Cinsiyet açısından üsluplara baktığımızda; ilk üç tercihte beğeniaçısından fark olmayıp, tercihlerin Empresyonist, Klasik ve Naif olaraksıralandığı; beğenilmeyen üslupların ıse bayanlarda Soyut,Ekspresyonist, Minyatür; erk.eklerde ise Soyut, Ekspresyonist ve Kübistolarak sıralandığı görülmüştür.Konu bakımından bayanlarda beğenilerıkonuların ilk üç tercihte peyzaj, portre, figüratif olarak; erkeklerde isepeyzaj, savaş konulu, fıgüratif olarak sıralandığı; beğenilmeyen konuların iseher iki cinsiyet grubunda da portre, natürmort ve savaş konulu olaraksıralandığı görülmektedir.Sonuç: Cinsiyetin; Samsun halkının resim sanatına yönelik, konu ve üslııpbakımından beğeni düzeylerinde önemli bir ayrım oluşturmadığı saptanmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Resim sanatı, konu ,üslup,cinsiyet, Samsun AbstractPurpose: The Purpose of this study is to investigate the level of likesof painting art of people in Samsun in terms of the style, subject accordingto sex.Method:, The samples consisting of 300 people have been randomlyselected. Some pictures including seven different subjects, such aslandscape, portrait, stili life, war, figures, religious and unnamed have beenfrom eight styles, such as Impressionist, Classic, NaYve, Abstract,Expressionist, Rococo, Miniature and Cubist have been chosen and 44 photos ofthem have been taken and in order to make an album. Besides, Personalinformation questionnaire and a check list on likes of the informants have beendeveloped and implemented. 300 people have chosen 1800 photographs out of45 paintings through the check - list.Findings: According to the findings, lmpressionist, Classic and Naivestyles have been admired most, whereas Abstract, Expressionist and Cubiststyles have been preferred less. In terms of subjects, landscape, figures and warhave been chosen, while the other subjects such as portrait, stiıı life andabstract paintings have not been chosen. When we look at the styles in termsof sex, it has been seen that there no difference in the first three choices inerijoying a"nd preferences were Impressionist, Classic and Naive, respectively;on the other hand, the Abstract, Expressionist and Miniature styles have notadmired by women and the abstract, expressionist and cubist styles have notbeen liked by men. When the research have been evaluated according tosubject, There have been seen that in the first three preferences, the landscape,portrait and figures have been adored by \women, and landscape, war subjectsand figures have been preferred by men; portrait, stili life and war subjects havenot been preferred by both sexes.Conclusion: According to this research, it has been understood thatthe sex factor has no important effect among the people of Samsun inenjoying the drawing art.Key Words: Painting art, subject, style and sex
