Makalede, Nureddin ‘Itr’ın “Menhecü’n-naḳd fî ʿUlûmi’l-Ḥadîs̱” adlı eseri incelenmiş, yazarın özgeçmişi ve ilmi kariyeri tanıtılmıştır. İnceleme tanımlayıcı ve analitik yöntemle yapılmıştır. Ḥadîs̱ ilminde yeni dönemimize damgasını vuran bir muhaddisten bahsettiği için bu çalışma çok önemlidir. Çünkü onun kişiliği, Hz. Peygamber’in (s.a.s.) rehberliğinde yürümesinden, sakinliğinden, öğrencileriyle hocalarına vefakarlığından ve tevazuundan dolayı karşılaştığı kimselere kendisini sevdiren kişisel özelliklere sahip olmasının yanında, geniş bilgisi ve hadis ilmine derin hakimiyetiyle temayüz eden ender kişiliklerden sayılır. Kitabın orijinalllikle çağdaşlığı birleşleştirmiş olması en önemli sonuçlardandır. Kitap saf altınla oluşturulan kalıp gibi karşımıza çıkmıştır. Bütün yönlerini ele alan bir bakış açısıyla onun, kalitesinden dolayı patent almaya layık olduğu söylenebilir. Hevadan uzak durarak araştırmada güvenilir ve objektif olmak, ulaştığı sonuçları arz etmede cesaret göstermekle birlikte hadisçilere göre düşüncenin esaslarında ilmi metodolojiyi esas almıştır. O çoğunlukla faslın veya babın sonunda özetlediği sonuçları veya daha önce araştırmada zikrettiği neticeleri kendine ilke edinmiştir.

In this article, Nureddīn 'Itr's work named " Manhaj an-Naqd fī 'ulūm al-Ḥadīth" was examined and the biography and scientific career of the author were introduced. The examination was carried out by descriptive and analytical method. This study's significance stems from the fact that it addresses the Ḥadīth scholar who has left his mark on Ḥadīth Studies in our modern era, one of the few people with broad knowledge and deep mastery of Hadith Studies. Not to mention, he has positive personality attributes, is well-liked, follows the Prophet's (peace be upon him) instructions, and is renowned for his composure, humility, and loyalty to his pupils and sheikhs. One of the most important results is that the book combines originality with modernity. The book had appeared as a mold made of pure gold. From an all-around perspective, it can be said to be patent-worthy for its quality. Being reliable and objective in research by staying away from Ambition showing courage in presenting the results which is reached, according to the hadith, he had based on the scientific methodology in the principles of thought. He had often taken it upon, himself to cite the results or he had previously mentioned in the research. He had summarized these results at the end of the chapter.
