Determination of Energy Drink Consumption in Turkey by Classical and Bayesian Meta-analysis methods

The consumption of energy drinks has increased in recent years, especially among the young population. In addition to the health benefits of such beverages, they also have damages. The aim of this study is to determine the frequency of energy drink consumption in Turkey. For this purpose, studies on energy drink consumption in Turkey have been compiled and analyzed by classical and Bayesian meta-analysis. As a result of the analysis, the Bayesian approach was found to give a more accurate frequency estimation value.
