GEMİLER İÇİN YALPA SÖNÜMLEYİCİ SİSTEMLER

Gemiler, bulundukları deniz ortamında oluşan ve meteorolojik şartlardan da kaynaklanan; rüzgâr, dalga, akıntı gibi dış kuvvetlere maruz kalarak altı serbestlik derecesinde hareket etmektedir. Dış kuvvetler sebebiyle ortaya çıkan bu hareketler geminin ana görev fonksiyonunu yük taşımak, savaşmak vb. yerine getirmesindeki en büyük etken olan personelin konforunu ve görev etkinliğini önemli oranda etkilemektedir. Personelin görev yapma kabiliyetinin azalmaması ve ana görev fonksiyonunun daha etkin olarak yerine getirilmesi amacıyla 20. yüzyılın başlarından itibaren çeşitli donanımlar üretilerek gemilere takılmış ve etkinlikleri incelenmiştir. Bu makalede yalpa önleyici sistemler genel olarak tanıtılarak, bu sistemlerde kullanılabilecek kontrol metotlarına örnekler vermek üzere genel bir literatür taraması yapılmıştır
