Madde kullanım bozukluğu olan gençlerin cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalık bilgi düzeyleri

Amaç: Bu araştırmada, madde kullanım bozukluğu olan gençlerin cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalık bilgi düzeylerini değerlendirmek amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu tanımlayıcı araştırma, Konya Asker Hastanesi Psikiyatri Polikliniğinde 07 Nisan–05 Kasım 2015 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Bu Araştırmaya, gönüllü olarak katılmayı kabul eden ve Madde Kullanım Bozukluğu tanısı almış olanlar alınmıştır. 152 katılımcıya, araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan anket uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Gençlerin yaş ortalamasının 21.18±1.25 olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırma grubunun %64.5’i CYBH’lardan AİDS’i, %27’si CYBH’ların belirtilerini ve %36.8’i CYBH’lardan korunmak için yapılması gerekenleri bilmiştir. Katılımcıların %61.8’inin cinsel ilişkide kondom kullanmadığı saptanmıştır. Gençlerin CYBH bilgi puan ortalaması 3.72±2.17 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Sonuç: Konu ile ilgili eğitim ve müdahale çalışmaları yapılmalıdır. İleri dönemde planlanacak çalışmalarda, madde kullanan bireyler riskli grup olarak değerlendirilmelidir.

Objective: In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the knowledge level of sexually transmitted diseases of young people with substance use disorders. Material and Methods: This descriptive study was conducted between 07 April and 05 November 2015 in Konya Military Hospital Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic. Those who accepted to participate voluntarily and who have received the substance use disorder were taken into this Survey. A questionnaire prepared by the researchers was applied to 152 participants. Results: The average age of young people were found to be 21:18 ± 1:25. 64.5% of the study group knew AIDS from STDs, 27% knew the symptoms of STDs and 36.8% knew what to do to protect against STDs. 61.8% of the participants were found to use condoms during sexual intercourse. Young STD knowledge score was calculated as 3.72±2.17. Conclusion: Training and intervention studies related to the subject should be done. In the studies to be planned in the future period, individuals who use substance should be considered as risky group.
