A case of primary pulmonary non-Hodgkin's lympoma

It was aimed to report a rarely seen form of lymphoma called primary pulmonary lymphoma, however pulmonary involvement in the course of malignant lymphoma is common. Case report: In this article a 65 year-old female patient operated for a solitary pulmonary nodule and histopathologically diagnosed as primary pulmonary non-Hodgkin's lymphocytic lymphoma after surgery was presented. Hylar and mediastinal lymph nodes were not involved in our case. But the patient died 4 years after the operation due to cerebral involvement. Conclusion: Because of the rareness of this type of lymphoma it is thought to be worth reporting in the light of literature. Clinicopathological and radiological features of this tumor are discussed.
