Bu çalışma ile Türkiye’de yapılan Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksek Okulları (BESYO) ve Spor Bilimleri Fakülteleri (SBF) özel yetenek sınavlarının mevcut durumunun incelenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evren ve örneklemini Yüksek Öğretim Kurumları Sınavı (YKS) 2021 kılavuzunda yer alan 104 Üniversitenin BESYO ve SBF özel yetenek sınav yönerge ve uygulamaları oluşturmuştur. Kaynak tarama metodunun kullanıldığı araştırmada, öğrenci alan tüm BESYO ve SBF sınav kitapçıkları incelenmiş ve sınavların tamamına ulaşılarak benzer ve farklı yönler ortaya konularak, sayısal verilere ve tablolara dönüştürülmüştür. 2021 YKS kılavuzunda yer alan 104 Üniversiteden; 78 üniversitenin Özel Yetenek Sınavı (ÖYS) ile öğrenci yerleştirdiği, ÖYS ve Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme (ÖSYM) tercihine göre alım yapan 17 üniversite olduğu, 9 üniversitenin ise sadece ÖSYM tercihi ile öğrenci yerleştirdiği görülmektedir (tablo 2). Özel Yetenek sınavlarında branş etabına yer veren 9 üniversite olduğu gözlenirken; sporcu özgeçmişini dikkate alan 44 üniversite olduğu belirlenmiştir (tablo 2). Özel yetenek koordinasyon parkurlarında en fazla kullanılan sınav etabının slalom (46 etap) ve bank üzerinden sıçrama (42 etap) olduğu, uluslararası test ve batarya tercihlerinde ise en fazla 30 metre sürat testi (10 üniversite) ve İllinois çeviklik testinin (8 üniversite) tercih edildiği gözlenmiştir (tablo 3). Sonuç olarak bu çalışma bulgularına bağlı olarak; özel yetenek sınav sistem, usul ve uygulamalarında okullar arasında heterojen ve kararsız bir yapı sergilendiği, sınavlarda kullanılan ölçüm ve test bataryalarının, sınav alan ve etaplarının tüm üniversitelerde farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, it is aimed to examine and evaluate the current state of Physical Education and Sports School and Sports Sciences Faculties special ability exams held in Turkey. The universe and sample of the study consisted of Physical Education and Sports School and Sports Sciences Faculties special ability exam guidelines and applications of 104 universities included in the 2021 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) guide. In the study, in which the literature review method was used, all exam booklets of the Physical Education and Sports School and Sports Sciences Faculties that accept students with the special ability exam were examined and similar and different aspects were revealed by reaching all of the exams and they were converted into numerical data and tables. Out of 104 universities included in the 2021 Higher Education Institutions Exam guideline, 78 universities accept students with Special Ability Exam (ÖYS) scores, 17 universities accept students according to Special Ability Exam and Student Selection and Placement (ÖSYM) scores and 9 universities accept students by using only ÖSYM scores (table 2). While there are only 9 universities that include the branch stage in the Special Ability exams, there are 44 universities that take into account the athlete’s CV (table 2). Slalom (46 stages) and jumping over the bench (42 stages) are the most used exam stages in special ability coordination tracks, and 30 meters speed test (10 universities) and Illinois agility test (8 universities) are the most preferred international test and battery preferences (table 3). As a result, it was concluded that there is a heterogeneous and unstable structure among the universities in terms of their special ability examination system, procedures and applications, the measurement and test batteries used in the examinations and the examination areas and stages.
