Tokat ilinde bulunan Buprestidae familyasına bağlı türlerin saptanmasını amaçlayan bu çalışma, 1995-1996 yıllarında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Anthaxia, Capnodis, Coroebus, Agrilus, Aurigena, Chalcophorella, Chrysobothris, Lampra, Melanophila, Julodis, Ptosima ve Meliboeus cinslerine bağlı toplam 21 türün varlığı ortaya konmuştur. Belirlenen türlerin tamamı Tokat faunası için yeni kayıt niteliğindedir. Çalışma sırasında saptanmış her bir türün yayılışları, erginlerinin doğada bulunuş zamanları ve üzerinden toplandığı bitkiler verilmiştir. En yaygın türler olarak Capnodis tetıebrionis (L.), Coroebus rubi (L), Anthaxia millefolii (F.) ve Meliboeus violaceus (Kiesw.) saptanmıştır. Bunlardan C. rubi için Sanguisorba minor Scop. (Küçük çayır düğmesi) (Rosaceae) yeni konukçu bitki olarak belirlenmiştir.

This study was carried out during the years of 1995-1996. The purpose of this study is to determine the species of Buprestidae occuring in Tokat. As a result of this study totally 21 species belonging to the genera of Anthaxia, Capnodis, Coroebus, Agrilus, Aurigena, Chalcophorella, Chrysobothris, Lampra, Melanophila, Julodis, Ptosima and Meliboeus were found. All species have been found out for the first time in Tokat province. For each species location, collecting dates, distributions and the plants on which the specimens were collected are given. In studied area Capnodis tenebrionis (L.), Coroebus rubi (L.);Anthaxia millefolii (F.) and Meliboeus violaceus (Kiesw.) are abundant species. From these, Sanguisorba minor Scop. (Small bumet) (Rosaceae) has been determined as a new host plant record for C. rubi.
