The physical look of the violin and many basic string-finger techniques used today were developed in the Baruoque Era. Also in this period many musical forms emerged and instrumental music gained a big importance. Development of the violin technique and the music in the Baroque Era formed a basis for the following music eras in this context. When all the features are taken into account, works of the Baroque Era can be said to have a big place in the violin training.
