Bu çalışma Collingwood\'un felsefe anlayışını ve Avrupa düşünce tarihindeki doğa tasarım süreçlerini ele almaktadır. Collingwood\' un “Doğa Tasarımı” tarih boyunca batı düşüncesinde insanların doğaya bakış açılarını ve onu nasıl tasarladıklarını güçlü bir şekilde işlemekte, özetlemekte ve bu yönüyle fennin dayandığı ilkeler ve varsayımlar üzerine değerli bir tartışma fırsatı sağlamaktadır. Ayrıca, fen bilimi ve felsefenin birbirinden nasıl beslendiklerini, insanın doğayla olan tecrübesi üzerinde düşünürken yaşadığı kültürün ne derece etkili olduğunu gözler önüne sermektedir. It reveals clearly that how science of nature and philosophy are nourished from each other and what extent to the culture he live in affect while one think about his own experience concerning nature.
