Bu çalışmada $rho_i(x) > 0$ sürekli diferansiyellenebilir yoğunluklu bir ortamda zaman-harmonik ses dalgaları için bir saçılma problemi incelenmiştir. Problem bir integral denkleme indirgendikten sonra integral denkleme karşılık gelen integral operatörün bazı kısıtlamalar altında kompakt olduğu gösterilmiştir.

In this paper, the scattering problem corresponding to time- harmonic acoustic waves in an inhomogeneous object which has $rho_i(x) > 0$ continuously differentiable density, has been investigated. First, the scattering problem has been reduced to an integral equation. Then, compactness of the integral operator corresponding to this integral equation has been shown under some restrictions.
