Sodyum metabisülfit' in fare dermal mast hücrelerindeki degranülasyon etkisi

Degranülation effect of sodium metabisulfite on the dermal mast cells of mouse

In this study, the degranulation effect of intradermally injected various sodium metabisulfite doses (0.30 mg/kg and 1.0 mg/kg) on the dermal mast cells of mouse {Mus musculus domesticus) have been examined after injection 1, 3, 6 and 12 hours by transmission electron microscope (TEM). No change on the dermal mast cells was observed 1, 3 and 6 h after injection of sodium metabisulfite (0.30 mg/kg). However, after 12 h from injection, dissolution at some granules and a partial degranulation of dermal mast cells were observed. No degranulation on the dermal mast cells was observed 1 h after injection of sodium metabisulfite (1mg/kg). Howtver, there were some degranulation after 3 hours. The general appearance of dermal mast cells and whole of cytoplasmic membrane were damaged after 6 h from injection, hi addition to that, after 12 h from injection, no degranulation was observed.
