Laparoskopik Apendektomide Manuel Düğümün Etkinliği

Amaç: güdüğünün manuel düğüm veya diğer yöntemlerle kapatılması arasında ki etkinlik farkı araştırıldı. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışma için, 2012 mart-2015 mart tarihleri arasında Erzincan Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Genel Cerrahi Kliniğinde laparoskopik apendektomi ameliyatı yapılan 30 hastanın dosyaları retrospektif olarak tarandı. Bulgular: Çalışmamızda 14 kadın, 16 erkek mevcuttu. Hastaların median yaşı 25 idi. Ortalama operasyon süresi manuel düğümde 45 dakika, diğer gereçlerde 40 dakika olarak tespit saptandı. Postoperatif hastanede ortalama yatış süresi manuel düğümde 1,3 gün, diğer gereçlerde 1,5 gün olarak tespit edildi. Postoperatif morbidite sadece manuel düğüm grubunda(%8) ve postoperatif apse olarak gözlendi. Sonuç: güdüğü manuel düğüm ile intra veya güvenli şekilde kapatılabilir. Bu şekilde uygulamanın diğer yöntemler uygulanarak yapılan kapama tekniğinden dezavantajı olmamakla beraber, operasyonel maliyet açısından avantajı bulunmaktadır.

Effectiveness of Manual Knotting at Laparoscopic Appendectomy

Objective: In this study, effectiveness of manual knotting at appendix stump closing versus other methods at laparoscopic appendectomy were compared. Material and Method: In this retrospective study, 30 patients who were performed laparoscopic appendectomy at Department of Surgery in School of Medicine at Erzincan University, between 2012 March- 2015 March, were evaluated. Results: There were 14 female and 16 male patients. Median age was 25(1852). Mean operation time at manual knotting and other methods was 45 minutes and 40 minutes, respectively. Mean length of postoperative stay at manual knotting and other methods was 1.3 days and 1.5 days, respectively. Postoperative morbidity was only seen at manual knotting group(8%) as abscess. Conclusion: Apendix stump can be safely closed by intra or extracorporeal manual knotting at laparoscopic appendectomy. This type of closing has no disadvantage compared with other methods, but it is more cost effective than the other methods.
