Central neurocytoma : Report of a case

Çeşitli kitle lezyonları üçüncü ve dördüncü ventrikülde yerleşirler. Santral nörositorna, bu lezyonların yakın zamanda tanımlananıdır. Septum pellusidumdan menşey alıyor olması, genç erişkinlerde görülmesi, papilloma ve epandimomaya benzerliği, iyi prognozu ve nadir bir klinikopatolojik tanı olması santral nörositomanın genel özellikleridir. Bu makalede, santral nörositoma ayırıcı tanısı ve tedavisi ile ilgili bir klinik deneyimimizi sunduk.

Santral nörositoma: Olgu sunumu

A variety of mass lesions involve the third and lateral ventricles. Central neurocytoma is one of these lesions that has been recently recognized. Originating from septum pellucidum, occurring in young adults, resembling choroid plexus papilloma and ependymoma, good prognosis and being a rare clinicopathological entity are the main features of central neurocytoma. In this report we present our clinical experience in the differential diagnosis and treatment of central neurocytoma.
