Zarf-fiiller; asıl zarf-fiiller ve birleşik zarf-fiiller olmak üzere iki ana başlığa ayrılır. Bunlardan birleşik zarf-fiiller, değişik görevlerdeki eklerin bir kaçının bir araya gelmesiyle oluşurlar. Oluşturulan birleşik zarf-fiil yapısında iyelik eklerinin bulunup bulunmaması, bir lehçe tercihi olmakla birlikte bir işlev farkı da ortaya koymaktadır.

Gerunds are divided into two groups: Main gerunds and compound gerunds. Compound ones are made up of a few suffixies together. The existence of possessive categories in the structure of compound gerund depends on the choice of dialect and that also manifests functional difference.
