İntertisiyel Sistit/Ağrılı Mesane Sendromunda Semptom Yönetimi ve Hemşirenin Rolü

İntertisiyel sistit ya da ağrılı mesane sendromu, kronik pelvik ağrı, idrar sıklığı ve sıkışmanın görüldüğü alt üriner sistemin kronik ve ilerleyici bir hastalığıdır. Hastanın yaşam kalitesini, cinsel ve mental durumunu olumsuz yönde etkileyen ve günlük aktivitelerini yerine getirmesini önleyen bu hastalıkta, uygun tedavi yöntemlerinin kullanılması ve gelişen semptomlar ile etkin şekilde baş edilebilmesi önemlidir. Bu derlemenin amacı, hemşirelere interstiyel sistit/ağrılı mesane sendromu ile ilgili güncel bilgileri aktarmak ve hastaların yaşamını olumsuz yönde etkileyen hastalığın semptomlarının kontrolünde kullanılan yöntemleri ve hemşirenin rolünü ortaya koymaktır.
