Yörük Ali Efe kuvvetleri ve Demirci Mehmet Efe kuvvetleri arasındaki çatışma ( 19 Ağustos 1920 )

Denizli olayı halkın Demirci Mehmet Efe ve adamlarına olan hoşnutsuzluğunu iyice ortaya çıkarmıştır. Özellikle Tavas mıntıkasında Demirciye karşı duyulan öfke açık olarak gösterilir hale gelmiştir. Halka ise yaygın bir korku ve öfke hakimdir.Demirci Mehmet Efe'nin adamlarının uygunsuz hareketleri Denizli olayı sonrasında da devam etmiştir. Demirci Mehmet Efe'nin 50 kadar adamının Karacasu civarında yaptıkları, Yörük Ali Efe'nin harekete geçmesine neden olmuştur. Yörük Ali Efe önce Demirci Mehmet Efe'yi uyaran bir telgraf göndermiştir. Aynı gün Muğla ve Havalisi Kumandanı Nuri Bey'e durum hakkında bilgi vererek, gerekli makamların olaydan haberdar edilmesini istemiştir. Ayrıca Aydın Mutasarrıfı Tevfik Bey'e de gelişmeleri bildirerek görüşünü sormuştur.Mustafa onbaşı ve arkadaşlarının halkın huzurunu kaçıran faaliyetlerinin artması sonucu 19 Ağustos 1920'de çatışma kaçınılmaz olmuştur. Yapılan müsademede Seyyar Jandarma Kumandanı Mülazım Halil İbrahim Efendi müfrezesi, Mustafa onbaşı ve arkadaşlarını etkisiz hale getirerek, asayişin teminini sağlamıştır.

Clash between the forces of Yoruk Ali Efe and those of Demirci Mehmet Efe (19th Ağustos 1920

The Denizli event well revealed the people's dissatisfaction with Demirci Mehmet Efe and his followers. Particularly, the rage felt against Demirci Mehmet Efe in the Tavas district was explicitly shown. And the people were prevailed by an expansive fear and rage.Improper behaviours of the followers of Demirci Mehmet Efe continued after the Denzili event as well. What some fifty followers of Demirci Mehmet Efe in the vicinity of Karacasu caused Yoruk Ali Efe to take action. Yoruk Ali Efe first sent a telegram which warned Demirci Mehmet Efe. He further provided Nuri Bey, commander of Mugla and its vicinity, with information on the circumstances and wanted any competent authorities to be notified of the event. Moreover, he also notified Tevfik Bey, Sub-governor of Aydin, of the developments and asked for his opinion.As a result of the increase of the activities of Corporal Mustafa and his comrades which disturbed the people, clashes became unavoidable on 19th August 1920.
