Sağlık personelinin beyin ölümü ve organ bağışıyla ilgili inanç ve tutumları
Sağlık çalışanlarının beyin ölümü ve organ nakli ile ilgili inanç ve tutumlarını belirlemek ve bu inançlar için etken olabilen sosyodemografık değişkenleri tanımlamaktır. Yöntem: Bu kesitsel çalışma 299 tıp personeli arasında anket yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular: Sağlık personeli arasında; "ölüm anı" sorgulandığında, yardımcı personel ve hemşireler genellikle kardiyopulmoner fonksiyonun durmasını işaret ederken, tıp öğrencileri ve doktorlar beyin ölümünü cevaplamışlardır. Beliefs and attitudes of medical personnel on brain death and organ donation
Aims: The aims of this study were to determine Turkish medical staff s beliefs and attitudes relating to brain death and organ donation and to identify the sociodemographic variables that may be important for these beliefs. Method: This cross-sectional survey was conducted among 299 medical personals. Results: When questioned about the time of death, medical personnel, medical clerks and nurses chose the time of cessation of cardiopulmonary function more frequently, while medical students and doctors answered that question more frequently as the time of brain death.
