Comparison of some clinical, hematological, biochemica, and electrocardiography findings before and after ruminatomy in cows qith traumatic reticuloperitonitis

In this study, importance of some clinical, hematological, biochemical, electrocardiography findings in the preoperative and postoperative period on the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of cattle with Traumatic Reticuloperitonitis (TRP) was investigated. This study was carried out on 30 cattle (from 2 to 8 years old) with TRP. Systematic clinical examinations and laboratory analyses were conducted on all cattle. ECGs of these cows were examined using base-apex (B A) derivation. Ruminal fluid examination (pH, total number of infusoria, Cl~ concentration), some hematological analysis (heamatocrite values, total leukocyte counts, leukocyte formula), venous blood gases (pH, $HCO_3, pCO_2$, and BE values), and biochemical analysis (serum $K^{+}, Na^{+}, Cl^{-}, Ca^{++}$, inorganic P, Mg++, total protein albumin, and globulin) were performed. Results of findings from clinical examination indicated that, body temperature, respiratory and pulse rates was significantly (P
