Cuticle ultrastructure of second stage juvenile of Anguina tritici (Steinbuch, 1799) (Nematoda: Anguinidae)

Anguina tritici ikinci devre juvenilinin (J2), kutikula ince yapısı, transmisyon elektron mikroskobu ile çalışılmıştır. Çok ince kesitler; dış, orta ve alt olmak üzere başlıca üç bölgenin varlığını göstermiştir. Dış bölge, dış ve iç tabakalardan meydana gelmiştir. Dış tabaka üç kısımdan oluşmuştur ve her kutikular halka çok tabakalı osmofilik bir örtü ile sarılmıştır. İç tabaka karşılıklı ince çizgili ve çizgisiz alt tabakalardan meydana gelmiştir. Orta bölge merkezi bir boşlukla beraber lifli özelliktedir ve bu bölge kutikular halkalar arasında kesintiye uğramıştır. Kutikulamn alt tabakası ise ince çizgilidir ve her kutikular halka arasında daha da daralmıştır.

Cuticle ultrastructure of second stage juvenile (J2) ofAnguina tritici is examined by transmission electron microscopy. Ultrathin sections revealed three major zones namely cortical, median and basal zones. The cortical zone consists of an external and internal layers. The external layer is trilaminate and at each annule it is covered by a rnultilayered osmophilic coating. The internal layer consists of alternate striated and unstriated sublayers. The median zone is fibrous with a central lacuna and the zone is interrupted between the annules. The basal zone of the cuticle is striated and narrower between each annule.
