The investigation of effect on microstructure and hardness of alloyed (Fe, Mn) layer on surface of CU alloy by using GTA process

In this study, a layers which was acquired different microstructure and hardness were formed on copper based material surface by using GTA process. A new layer was produced on surfaces of specimens by using GTA process with 9 g and 12 g powder feed contents,115 A, 125 A and 140 A current, 25 V and 28 V voltage values, respectively. According to penetrated powder feed contents, different hardness values were determined in this layer. Hardness values were increased depend on rising powder feed contents.
