Miringoplasti

Miringoplasti, timpanik membranın rekonstrüksiyonu amacıyla yapılan ameliyattır. Bu ameliyatta birçok greft materyali ve cerr ahi teknik uygulanmaktadır. Greft materyali olarak sıklıkla otojen greftler tercih edilmektedir. Uygulanan cerrahi tekniklerin greft başarı oranları benzer olmasına rağmen fonksiyonel sonuçlar farklılık göstermektedir. Son dönemde endoskopik inlay kartilaj butterfly teknik, iyi iş itme sonuçları, postoperatif hasta konforunun iyi olması, operasyon süresinin kısalığı ve operasyonun maliyetinin düşük olması gibi avantajlar sunmaktadır.

Myringoplasty

Myringoplasty is an operation which is performed for the reconstruction of tympanic membrane. Various graft materials and surgical techniques are used for this operation. Autogenous graft materials are generally preferred. Despite the graft survival rates are similiar for the various surgical techniques, the functional results vary. It has been recently reported that endoscopic inlay butterfly technique has some adva ntages as good hearing results and postoperative patient comfort, lower operation time and cost.
