Türkiye’de İşsizlik ve İstihdam Görünümü: İşsizlik Sadece İşsizlik midir?

OECD tarafından yayımlanan İstihdam Görünümü Raporu, işgücü piyasalarındaki mevcut koşulların değerlendirmesini ele almaktadır. OECD, üye ülkelere ait istatistiki değerlendirmeleri söz konusu ülkelerin istatistik ofislerinden aldığı verilere dayandırarak gerçekleştirmektedir. Ancak mevcut verilerin tartışılır olması, uygulamada karar, politika ve sonuçların hatalı çıkmasına yol açmaktadır. Ekonomik açıdan başarısız olan hükümetler ise gerçekleri saklama adına önemli bir imkâna kavuşmaktadır. Dolayısıyla bu analiz, OECD tarafından açıklanan işsizlik bulgularının, Türkiye açısından ne denli gerçekçi olduğunu sorgulamaya çalışmaktadır. Bununla birlikte işsizlik olgusunun, sadece ekonomik bir vaka olup olmadığı tartışma konusu edilmektedir

Unemployment and Employment Outlook in Turkey: Unemployment is Only Unemployment?

The Employment Outlook Report published by OECD deals with assessing the current conditions in the labor market. The OECD takes statistical evaluations of Member States from their statistical offices and carries out its evaluations based on these data. However, the fact that the existing data are debatable, in practice, leads to the wrong decision policy and results. But, in this way, governments that fail economically get an important opportunity to hide the facts. Therefore, this analysis tries to question whether the findings of unemployment announced by the OECD are realistic or not for Turkey. In addition, whether unemployment phenomenon is an Economic case or not, is debated
