Analogies in relation to the Reliability of Religious and Mystical Experiences: Transition from the Analogy of Sense Experience to the Analogy of Emotion Experience

When the reliability and the validity of religious and mystical experi— ences are discussed, the analogy of sense experience is considered on preferential basis with positive and negative perspectives. However sense data is inadequate to understand the real meaning of religious and mystical experiences. Therefore it is necessary to represent emotional relation as well as sensual relation. In this article the analogy of emotion experience is proposed in addition to the analogy of sense experience. The analogy of sense experience is dealt with the theme of perception, unanimity, uni— versality and the analogy of emotion experience is dealt with the theme of affection, unanimity and commonality. As consequence, the synergy of both sense and emotion analogy is supported by the model of awareness.
