DİŞ HEKİMLİĞİNDE MİKROSIZINTI VE MİKROSIZINTI ARAŞTIRMA YÖNTEMLERİ

Dişhekimliğinde mikrosızıntı, birçok faktörün etki ettiği biyolojik bir olay zinciridir. Restorasyonların kalıcılığını etkileyen, renkleşmelere yol açan, post operatif duyarlılık ve sekonder çürük oluşumlarına neden olan mikrosızıntının önlenebilmesi için literatürde çok sayıda araştırma, test yöntemi ve bunların güvenilirlikleri ve geçerlilikleri ile ilgili birçok veri bulunmaktadır. Yapılan araştırmalarda, gerek restoratif materyallerin yapısal özellikleri, gerekse uygulama yöntemleri geliştirilerek diş dokuları ile daha iyi bir uyum sağlanmasına ve mikrosızıntının önlenmesine çalışılmaktadır. Kenar sızıntısının değerlendirilmesi için birçok test metodu geliştirilmiş ve denenmiştir. Bu test metodları içinde; boyar madde penetrasyon testleri, radyoizotoplar, kimyasal ajanlar, bakteriyel testler, hava basıncı yöntemi, nötron aktivasyon analizi, elektrokimyasal yöntemler ve mikroskobik inceleme yöntemleri gibi test metodları bulunmaktadır. Bu makalede kenar sızıntısının değerlendirilmesinde kullanılan bu test metodları ve bunların olumlu ve olumsuz yönleri hakkında bilgiler derlenmiştir
