C-KANALLI ALT İKİNCİ BÜYÜK AZI DİŞLERİNİN ENDODONTİK TEDAVİSİ: DÖRT OLGU NEDENİYLE

Kök kanalı anatomisinin çok iyi bilinmesi, endodontik tedavinin başarısı için bir gerekliliktir. Genelde iki köklü ve üç kanallı olabilen alt ikinci büyük azı dişlerinde, farklı birçok morfoloji de görülebilir. C-şekilli kök ve kanal yapısı da görülebilecek bu farklı morfolojilerden bir tanesidir. Bu farklı kök ve kanal sisteminin en önemli anatomik özelliği, mesial ve distal kanalların, enine kesiti ve 3-boyutlu şekli, kökün uzun ekseni boyunca her an değişen, ağ veya yüzgeç şekilli yapılarla birleşmesidir. Bu olağan dışı biçim özellikle kök kanallarının temizliği, şekillendirilmesi ve doldurulması sırasında uzmana bazı teknik zorluklar yaratır. Bu olgu raporunda, C-kanal yapısı gösteren dört adet alt ikinci büyük azı dişinin, başarılı biçimde yapılan kök kanalı tedavileri anlatılmaktadır.
