Mandibular dislokasyon, kondilin artiküler eminensin anteriorunda konumlanmasıyla karakterize, akut veya kronik formda görülebilen bir durumdur. Hastalar için son derece rahatsız edicidir. Esneme, gülme, ağzın uzun süre açık kalmasını gerektiren günlük aktiviteler esnasında meydana gelebilen stresli ve zor bir rahatsızlıktır. Bu makalede, eminektomi ile başarılı bir şekilde tedavi edilen tek taraflı mandibular dislokasyon vakası sunulmuştur

Surgıcal Treatment of Temporomandıbular Joınt Dısorder: A Case Report

Mandibular dislocation is a condition in which condyle is positioned anteriorly to the articular eminence and occurs in a chronic or acute form. It is extremely discomfortable for the patients. It is a distressing and highly hard situation that may ocur as a result of Daily activities such as yawning, aughing orduring events that require keeping the mouth open for along time. The aim of this article is to report a case of unilateral chronic mandibular dislocation that was successfully treated with eminectomy
