Farklı anatomik varyasyonlar gösteren alt büyük azı dişlerinin endodontik tedavisi: Vaka raporu

Kök kanal tedavisinin amacı; pulpa boşluğunun mekanik ve kimyasal olarak temizlenerek üç boyutlu olarak hermetik bir şekilde kanal dolgusu ile tıkanmasıdır. Endodontik tedavi başarı oranı alt azı dişlerinde %81,48 iken, tedavi edilmemiş kök kanalları nedeniyle bu oranın yaklaşık olarak %42’ye düştüğü rapor edilmiştir. Bu vaka raporunda mesial kök kanallarında varyasyon gösteren sol alt birinci büyük azı ve sağ alt ikinci büyük azı dişlerinin endodontik tedavileri sunulmaktadır. Çok köklü dişlerin kompleks anatomik varyasyonlar göstermesi sebebiyle endodontik tedavisi güçtür. Endodontik başarısızlığın en büyük nedenlerinden biri kanalların gözden kaçırılması ya da kanallara erişilememesidir. Dişin anatomisinin tam olarak bilinmesi, radyografinin dikkatli yorumlanması, klinisyenin beceri ve tecrübesi ile hastaya başarılı bir endodontik tedavi sunulabilir

Endodontıc Treatment Of Mandıbular Molars Wıth Anatomıcal Varıtıons: A Case Report

The purpose of a successful endodontic treatment is to clean mechanically-chemically and to fill the root canal with three-dimensionally hermetically sealed. The success rates for endodontic treatment of lower molars were 81.48%. However, this rate was reduced 42% due to untreated root canals. This case report presents to endodontic treatments of left lower first molar and right lower second molar teeth, which have anatomical variations. Endodontic treatment of multi‑rooted teeth is always challenging task due to complex variations associated with them. Main reason for endodontic failure is due to clinician’s inability to locate and access aberrant root canals. Knowledge of radicular tooth anatomy and possible root canal variations is mandatory for the clinicians. Careful interpretation of the anatomy of the tooth, careful interpretation of the radiograph, and skill and experience of the clinician can provide a successful endodontic treatment to the patient
