Louis Spohr’un 19. yüzyılın başlarında solo arp için bestelemiş olduğu Do Minör Fantezi Op.35, enstrümanın teknik ve müzikal kapasitesini ortaya çıkaran ve geliştiren bir başyapıt olarak tarihe geçmiştir. Bu makalede, günümüzde sıklıkla icra edilen bu eseri anlayabilmek için bestecinin hayatı, yaşadığı dönemin özellikleri, eseri bestelerken göz önünde bulundurduğu dönem enstrümanının yapısal özellikleri ve besteciye ilham veren arp virtüözü eşi Dorette Scheidler Spohr’un hayatı incelenmiştir. Konuyla ilgili kısıtlı sayıda bulunan kaynaklara katkısı olması hedeflenen çalışmanın araştırma sürecinde gerekli literatür taramaları yapılarak, Spohr’un otobiyografisi başta olmak üzere yerli ve yabancı kaynaklar kullanılmıştır. Eserin ustalıkla icra edilebilmesi için rehber niteliği taşıyan bu makalede, icra önerilerine ve çalışma yöntemlerine yer verilmiştir.

Louis Spohr's Fantasy in C Minor, Op.35, composed for solo harp in the early 19th century, has earned its place in history as a masterpiece that showcases and advances the technical and musical capabilities of the instrument. In this article, to better comprehend this frequently performed work, the life of the composer, the characteristics of the era in which he lived, the structural features of the period instrument he considered while composing the piece, and the life of the harp virtuoso and composer's wife, Dorette Scheidler Spohr, who inspired him, have been examined. During the research process of this study, which aims to contribute to the limited number of existing sources on the subject, necessary literature reviews were conducted, utilizing both domestic and foreign sources, including Spohr's autobiography. This article serves as a guide for the masterful performance of the composition, offering performance suggestions and practice methods.
