Nitekim, Robert Koclı, kendi adı ile anılanve 4 maddeden ibaret olan, Kodı Postulat'ında «izole edilen etkenler hassas hayvaniara şırınga edilince hastalık meydana getirmelidirler » demektedir. Bu çağlarda başlayan deneme hayvanı kullanma tutkusu, zamanımız ilim adamlannda da ayni kuvvette bulunmaktadır.
