Çiftlik Hayvanlarında Kullanılan Benzimidazol Grubu Antelmintikler

Bu derlemede, çiftlik hayvanlarında kullanılan Benzimidazol grubu antelmintikler, bunlann özellikleri, etki şekilleri, an telmentİk spektrumlan, kullanılış ve dozları incelenmiştir. Albendazol, cambendazol, cyclobendazol, fenbendazol, flubendazol, mebendazol, oxfendazol, oxibendazol, parbendazole, triclabendazol, luxabendazol ve ricobendazol bu bileşiklerin başlıcalarıdır. Ayrıca febantel, thiophanate, ve netobİmin gibi probenzimidazol grubu bileşikler de vardır. Benzimidazoller çiftlik hayvanlarında özellikle mide-bağırsak ve akciğer nematodlarının ergin ve larvaları ile bazı trematod ve cestodlara yüksek oranda etki gösterirler. Bu bileşikler paraziderin enerji üretim metabolizmalarını bozmak suretiyle etki gösterirler. Evcil hayvanların bu bileşiklere karşı dayanıklılıkları iyidir. En önemli sakıncaları, hayvaniannet ve sütlerinde kalıntı bırakabilmesi ve bazılarının gebeliğin ilk dönemlerinde kullanıldığında teratojenik etki yapabilmesidir.

Benzimidazole Anthelmintcs Used In Livestock Animals

In this review, Benzimidazole anthelıninitics used in livestock aninıals were deseribed for their pharmacodynamics, anthelmintic spectrums, mode of action, dosage and administration. Albendazole, cambendazole, cyclobendazole, mebendazole, flubendazole, mebendazole, oxfendazole, oxibendazole, · parbendazole, triclabendazole, luxabendazoıe· and ricobendazole are the major anthelmentics in this group. There are also anthelmentics in probenzimidazole group such as febantel, thiophanate and netobimin. These anthelmintics have high activity against adult and larva! forms of the gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms and some trematodes and cestodes. All the benzimidazoles act on parasites by interfering with their energy-generating metabolism . The benzimidazoles are extremely well tolerated by livestock animals The .main problem with these drugs is that they can be found as residues in the meat and milkof the animalsin which these dnıgs are used. It has been determined that some of the drugs may have a teratogenic effect during the early stages of fregnancy.
