Calicivirus'lar

Caliciviruses

There were a few a viral diseases upto recent times. However by the development of the technology, there has been an increase in the number of the diseases. As the studies go on new viruses and viral dieases will occur. The viruses which were thought to belong to some other families previovsly have either formed new families or changed their family engagements by the ones found recently. The caliciviruses are of these kind. In this text, the properties and the diseases which are caused by the calicivirus and calicivirus-like viruses have been explained.
