Boğa Spermasından İlk Defa İzole ve İdantifiye Edilen «Miyagawanella Bovis»

Bu araştırmada; kan senımu «Enzootik koyun abortüsü» antijeni ile komplement - fixation test'inde müsbet reaksiyon veren Karasu İnekhanesi damızlıklarından Holstein (Siyah-beyaz alaca) ırkından 333/64 kulak numaralı genç bir boğanın enfeksiyon etkenini taşıyıp taşımadığı hususu araştırılmış olup taze dondurulmuş halde getirtilen boğaya ait sperma mayiinden embryonlu tavuk yumurta kültürlerinde PLV grubundan biy virus izolesine muvaffak olunmuştur. 1 - Laboratuvar deney hayvanlanndan fare ve gebe . kabaylarda patojenite testleri yapılmış, enfeksiyondan iki hafta sonra farelerin karaciğerlerinden yapılan preparatlarda ajan tesbit edilmiş, kabaylarda yavru atımı sağlanmış ve atık kobay cenin organlannda viral elementer cisimciklerin varlığı isbatlanmıştır. 2 - Enfekte boğadan çeşitli zamanlarda alınan kan serumları ıle ajana karşı koyunda hazırlanan kan serumu Enzootik koyun abartüsü antijeninin kullanıldığı komplement - fixation test'inde müsbet reaksiyon vermişlerdir. 3 - Enzootik koyun abartüsü antiserun1u, boğa spermasından izole edilen virusu, bu ajana karşı koyundan elde edilen antiserumda enzootik koyun abortüs etkenini nötralize etmişlerdir. Bu husus kros neutralisasyon test'leriyle saptanmıştır. 4 - ldantifikasyon çalışmaları sonucu; ilk defa yurdumuzda boğa Sperma mayiinden embryonlu tavuk yumurta kültürlerinde izolesine muvaffak olunan Psittakosis lymphogranuloma venereum (PLV) grubuna ait virusun «Miyagawanella bovis «(M. bovis) olduğu kanısını vermiştir.

The First Isolation and identification Of Miyagawanella Bovis from a bull semen

In this research work it has been suceeded to isoiate a virus from PL V group on the embrioned egg culture of the fresh and frozen semen which belonged to one of the Holstein breeding young bulls with 333/64 ear-tag number raised on Karasu Cattle Breeding Station, the blood serum of which had been found positive in the Coınplement Fixation Test with the antigen of Enzootic Shecp Abortion that was conducted to see whether the bull in question carried or not the infecting agent of the · abovementioned disease. 1 - Further, the pathogeny tests were carried out on rats and pregnant guinea pigs resulting in that the infecting agent has been fixed on slides made from the liver of rats two weeks after the ınfection; abc rtions have been observed in the infected guinea pigs, and viral elementary bodies have been fixed in the aborted foetuses. 2 - Positive reactions have been observed from the compleınent fixation tests with the blood sera that obtained from the ~aid bull in differant intervals using the antigen of Enzootic Shecp Abortion produced from the blood serum of the sheep which had been prepared against the agent in question. 3 - The antiserum of Enzootic Sheep Abortion has neutralized the virusthat had been produced from the semen of the bull ın question; and, the antiserum against this agent that had been produced from the sheep in question has neutralized the agent of Enzöotic Sheep Abortion. This fact has been proved by crass-neu traliza tion test. 4 - Results of indentification tests have led us in a belief rhat the virus isolated successfu1ly from the embrioned egg culture made by the bull semen first time in Turkey which belongs to the Psittakosis Lymphogranuloma Venerum (PLV) group, is found to be as «Miyagawanella Bovis» (M. Bovis).
