Adana Yöresi Sığır Koyun ve Keçilerinden ELISA ve IHA Testleri ile Toxoplasmosis'in Yaygınlığının Araştırılması

Bu çalışmada , 301 koyun, 100 keçi, 370 sığır olmak üzere toplam 771 adet kan serumu Toxoplasmosis yönünden IHA ve ELISA-IgG testleri ile muayene edildi. IHA testinde 1:64, ELISA testinde ise 1:200 titre pozitif olarak değerlendirildi . Atık yapan koyunlara ait 259 kan serumundan 66 (% 25 . 5) ' sı IHA, 57 (% 22.0)'si ELISA ile; kontrol grubu koyunlara ait 42 kan serumundan 4 (% 9.5)'ü IHA, 3 (% 7 .1)'ü ELISA ile pozitif bulundu. Atık yapan keçilere ait 66 kan serumunun 10 (% 15.1)'u IHA, 8 (% 12.1)'i ELISA ile pozitif bulunurken; kontrol grubu keçilere ait 34 kan serumu her iki test ile de negatif son' 'C verdi. Atık yapan 51 sığıra ait kan serumlarından 3 (% 5.9)'ü IHA, 4 (% 7.8)'ü ELISA ile; kontrol grubu sığırl ara ait 39 kan serumundan 1 (% 2.6)'i IHA, 1 (% 2 .6)'i ELISA ile pozitif bulundu. Adana ve Hatay illerine ait, rastgele örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiş 280 adet kan serumunun..1:4 (% 5)'ü IHA, 10 (% 3.6)'u ELISA ile pozitif bulundu . IHA ve ELISA test sonuçları karşılaştırıldığında iki test arasında koyunlarda % 89.9, keçilere% 90.9, sığırlarda% 94.1 oranında uyumluluk tesbit edildi.

A study on the prevalence of Toxoplasmosis in cattle, sheep and goats in Adana region by using ELISA and IHA tests

In this study, 771 blood sera from 301 sheep, 100 goats, 370 cattle were tested for Toxoplasmosis by IHA and ELISA-IgG. Control groups were selected from the animals with no abortions. In IHA testtiter of 1:64 and in ELISA-IgG titer of 1 :200 were concidered positive. 66 (25.5 %) out of 259 sera from sheep that aborted were positive in IHA, and 57 (22 %) were positive in ELISA. 4 (9.5 %) out of 42 sera from control group of sheep were positive in IHA, and 3 (7.1 %) positive in ELI SA. 1 O (15.1 %) out of 66 blood sera from go ats that aborted w ere positive in IHA, and 8 (12.1 %) were positive in ELISA. 34 blood sera from the control group were negative in both IHA and ELISA test. 3 (5.9 %) out of 51 :;era from cattle that aborted were positive in IHA, and 4 (7.8 %) were positive in ELISA. Only 1 (2.6 %) serum in IHA and 1 (2.6 %) serum in ELISA were positive out of 39 blood sera from the control group of cattle. 280 blood sera collected by randam sampling from Adana and Hatay provinces were tested by IHA and ELI SA and 14 (5 %) in IHA, 1 O (3.6 %) in ELI SA were found positive for Toxoplasmosis. When the results of IHA and ELISA were compared, 89.9 % agreement in sheep, 90.9% agreement in goats, and 94.1 % agreement in cattle were found between the two tests used.
