Survey Results Of Dumlupınar University’s Main Campus Power Quality Measurements

This paper analyzes the quality of the electric power consumed at the main campus of Dumlupinar University. In order to determine the date, time, and frequency of power quality events such as outages, sags, and swells five voltage event recorders were installed at the power entrance of five main buildings across the campus. The recorded data supplied by the voltage event recorders were periodically downloaded to a computer to identify the time stamp, duration, and the frequency of power quality events. It is intended to identify the causes of power quality events, and possible effects and to recommend possible solutions in order to maintain the quality of the power at a satisfactory level.
