Modern Fiziğe Karşı Negatif Algılar ve Yabancılaşma Algısının Nedenleri: Lisans Öğrencileri Üzerine Nitel Bir Araştırma

Bu araştırmanın amacı, modern fizik dersi alan lisans öğrencilerinin modernfiziğe yönelik açığa çıkan negatif algılardan yabancılaşma algısının nelerdenkaynaklandığını tespit etmektir. Bunun için fizik öğretmenliği, fizik ve fen bilgisiöğretmenliği eğitimi alan 36 lisans öğrencisi ile odak grup görüşmesi, 13 öğrenci ilede modern fiziğe yönelik açığa çıkan yabancılaşma algılarının nelerdenkaynaklandığına dair bireysel görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Veriler betimsel ve içerikanalizi yöntemleriyle analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarında öğrencilerin modernfiziğe yönelik açığa çıkan yabancılaşma algılarının nedenleri olarak daha çoköğretim elemanlarının alanlarında donanımlı olmamaları, öğretim elemanlarıncamodern fiziğin günlük hayat ile olan ilişkisinin kurulmaması, sınıf içerisinde akrandayanışmalarına yer verilmemesi, öğretim elemanlarının tekdüze ders anlatmaları,modern fizik ders kitaplarının sahip olduğu ağır matematiksel doku, dili vegörselleştirmelere fazla yer vermemeleri şeklinde olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The Reasons of Alienation Perception Occurring Against Modern Physics: A Qualified Research on Bachelor Students

The aim of this study is to detect where the perceptions of alienation of bachelor students which is negative perception occurring towards modern physics is resulted from. For this purpose, the focus interview with 36 bachelor students and individualistic interviews with 13 student about where alienation perception occurring towards modern physics is resulted from were realized. The data were analysed by means of descriptive and content analysis. According to the results of the analysis, the students expressed their views as the reasons of alienation perceptions occurring towards modern physics as these: that the lecturers were not equipped with adequately in their fields and that the relationship between modern physics and daily life was not set up and that not taking adequately the place to the peer solidarity in the classroom and that the lecturers told their lessons routinely and the modern physics books have heavily mathematical tissues and that they didn’t take the place language and visualization.
