BESİNLER VE BAZI BESİN ÖĞELERİNİN AKCİĞER KANSERİYLE İLİŞKİSİ

Besinler ve bazı besin öğeleri ile akciğer kanseri arasındakiilişki, içme suyundaki arseniğin karsinojen olarak net birbiçimde belirtilmesinin dışında henüz açıklığa kavuşturulamamıştır. Mevcut literatürdeki çalışmalar ve konu hakkındaotorite kabul edilen kurumlar; sebze ve meyvelerle birliktekarotenoidler, izoflavonlar, retinol ve C vitamini içerenbesinlerin akciğer kanseri oluşumunun önlenmesinde faydalıolabileceğini belirtmiştir. Öte yandan kırmızı ya da işlenmişet tüketimi ile alkol alımının ise akciğer kanserine sebepolabileceğine dair bazı çalışmalar da bulunmaktadır.

ASSOCIATION OF FOODS AND SOME NUTRIENTS WITH LUNG CANCER

The relationship between foods, some nutrients and lungcancer has not been elucidated yet, except that the arsenic indrinking water is clearly as carcinogen. Studies in the current literature and institutions considered to be authoritativeabout cancer suggested that vegetables and fruits with carotenoids, isoflavones, retinol and vitamin C containing foodsmay be useful in the prevention of lung cancer. On the otherhand, some studies indicated that consumption of red orprocessed meat and alcohol intake may cause lung cancer.
