Sütçü İneklerde Select-synch Protokolünde Uzun ve Kısa Etkili GnRH Analoglarının Dölverimi Üzerine Etkisi

Sunulan çalışmada; Holştayn ırkı ineklerde uzun ve kısa etkili GnRH analoglarının kullanılması ile uygulananSelect-synch protokolünün gebelik oranlarına etkisi araştırıldı. Çalışmada hayvan materyali olarak 40 baş inek kullanıldı ve inekler rastgele iki gruba ayrıldı. Birinci ve ikinci gruptaki hayvanlara 0. gün sırasıyla lesirelin asetat ve gonadorelin diasetat uygulandı. Çalışmaya alınan tüm hayvanlara 7. gün prostaglandin (PG) F2? enjeksiyonu yapıldı. Prostaglandin F2? enjeksiyonundan 24 saat sonra, östrus belirtileri deneyimli veteriner teknikerleri tarafından gözlemlemeyapılarak belirlendi. Östrus gösteren inekler belirtilerin görülmesinden 12 saat sonra tohumlandı. Çalışmadaki hayvanlara ovaryel yapıların belirlenmesi amacıyla 0. ve 7. günlerde ve tohumlama zamanında transrektal ultrasonografi (5MHz) uygulandı. Grup 1 ve 2'de sırasıyla toplam 12 ve 10 hayvan östrus gözlemi yapılarak rekto-vaginal yöntemletohumlandı. Uygulamanın 9. gününde tohumlanan hayvanlarda Grup 1 ve 2'deki gebelik oranları sırasıyla % 50 (4/8)ve % 25 (2/8) olarak tespit edildi (p>0.05). Sonuç olarak, bu çalışmada ineklerde Select-synch protokolünde uzun etkiliGnRH analoglarının kullanımının, kısa etkili GnRH analoglarından daha etkili olduğu kanaatine varıldı

The Effect of Long and Short Acting GnRH Analogues Applications on Fertility in Select-synch Protocol Applied Dairy Cows

In the present study, the effects of long and short acting GnRH analogues in Select-synch protocol onpregnancy rates in Holstein cows were investigated. Forty cows were used and divided into two groups randomly(n=20). In the first and second groups, animals received lecirelin acetate and gonadorelin diacetate, respectively atday 0 and 7, all animals were injected Prostaglandin (PG) F2α. Estrus behaviors were detected by experiencedveterinarian technicians conducting visual inspections 24 hours after PGF2α injections. Cows detected in estrus wereinseminated 12 hours after the detection. Ultrasonography was performed by transrectal route (5 MHz) at day 0, 7 andinsemination time to determine the ovarian structure of the animals. In Group 1 and 2, in total, 12 and 10 animalsrespectively were inseminated using recto-vaginal technique after the detection of estrus. The pregnancy rates in theanimals inseminated at day 9 in Group 1 and 2 were detected as 50% (4/8) and 25% (2/8), respectively (p>0.05). As aresult, in this study, long acting GnRH analogues were found more effective than short acting GnRH analogues inSelect-synch protocol in dairy cows
