An Overview to the Avian Anesthesia
Generally avian must be anesthetized for diagnosis and treatment. Having Knowledge about the anatomicaland characteristics of cardiopulmonary physiology of birds required for lowered-anaesthesia complications. Thisarticle includes selected inhalation anaesthesia techniques, cannulation of the airway, intraosseous catheterization, anesthetic drugs, supportive therapy during anaesthesia and anaesthesia complications for birds.
