Ankara Tavşanı Derisinde S100 Proteini ve Altüniteler S100α ile S100β’nın İmmunohistokimyasal Lokalizasyonu

S100 proteinleri, farklı hedef proteinlerle etkileşime girerek bir çok hücresel olayda görev alan kalsiyum bağlayıcı proteinlerdir. Ankara tavşanı derisinde S100 proteini ve bu proteinin altüniteleri olan S100α ve S100β’nın varlığı ve hücresel lokalizasyonları ile ilgili herhangi bir araştırma bulunmamaktadır. Çalışmada materyal olarak on adet sağlıklı, erişkin, beyaz Ankara tavşanından alınan sırt derileri kullanıldı. S100 proteinlerinin lokalizasyonunun belirlenmesi amacıyla strept-ABC immunohistokimyasal boyama yöntemi uygulandı. İmmunohistokimyasal boyamalarla, Langerhans hücrelerinin, melanositlerin, dermal dendritik hücrelerin, kıl follikülü iç katmanını oluşturan hücrelerin, kıl bulbusundaki bazı hücrelerin ve kan damarlarının S100β alt ünitesini, dermiste bulunan muskulus arrektor pili ve çizgili kasların ise S100α alt ünitesini içerdikleri gözlendi. Bununla birlikte, sinir teli demetlerinin her iki molekülü de içerdiği, keratinositlerin ise içermedikleri dikkati çekti. S100 proteini ve bu proteinin alt üniteleri olan S100α ile S100β’nın Ankara tavşanı derisindeki varlığı ve proteinlerin hücresel lokalizasyonları ilk kez bu çalışmayla ortaya konulmuştur
