Bu çaly?mada; betonun basynç altynda çekme dayanymynyn ?ekil ve boyut de?i?imlerinden nasyl etkilendi?i ara?tyrylmy?tyr. Brezilya yarma deneyi olarak adlandyrylan Silindir yarma deneyinin silindir ve küp numuneler üzerinde yarmada çekme deneyi yapylmy?tyr. Yarmada çekme dayanymyna ek olarak, ayryca numunelerin basynç dayanymy, e?ilmede çekme dayanymy ve statik elastisite modülünün belirlenmesi içinde numuneler dökülmü?tür. Su/çimento orany 0,53 olan betondan iki farkly geometrik ?ekilde ve üç farkly boyutta küp ve silindir numunelerin 28 günlük yarmada çekme dayanymlary belirlenmi? ve boyutlar arasyndaki ili?ki belirlenmi?tir.

INVESTIGATE OF SIZE EFFECT IN GEOMETRIC CHANGES OF SPLITTING TENSILE STRENGHT OF CONCRETE

In this study, it is examined how concrete is effected under pressure tensile strength of concrete as shape and size effect. Brazilian Split is known as Cylinder Split Experiment is used on cylinder and cubic samples upen Tensile Splitting Strength. In addition to tensile splitting strength, seperately, specimens has prepared to determine to compressive strength , flexural strength and Static Modulus of Elasticity. During 28 days tensile splitting strength of three different size and two different shapes of cubic and cylinder samples which are made on the rate of 0,53 water and cement concrete is examined and splitting between shapes are researched.
