İntestinal Behçet hastalığı

Behçet hastalığı, vaskülitik patoloji zemininde seyreden sistemik bir hastalıktır. Gastrointestinal sistem tutulumu dominant olduğu zaman (hemoraji, intestinal ülserler veya perforasyon) intestinal Behçet hastalığı olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Türkiye'deki Behçet hastalarında intestinal tutulum nadir olup hastaların ancak %1'nde bildirilmiştir. Burada intestinal Behçet hastalığı tanısı konulmuş olan iki olgu sunulmaktadır. İnşamatuvar barsak hastalığını taklit edebildiği gibi masif hemoraji ile de prezente olmaktadır. İntestinal ülserler genellikle terminal ileum ve çekumda görülmektedir. Perforasyon gelişebilmektedir. Burada sunulan iki intestinal Behçet hastalığı olan olgulardan birine Behçet hastalığı tanısı, intestinal hastalığın etyolojisinin araştırılmasıyla konulmuştur.

Intestinal Behçet's disease

Behçet's disease is known as a vasculitic pathology with a usually systemic course. It is described as intestinal Behçet's disease in the presence of gastrointestinal system involvement, such as intestinal ulcers, hemorrhage or perforation. Prevalence of intestinal Behçet's disease is very rare in Turkish patients and accounts for less than 1% of the patients. It may mimic inflammatory bowel disease or present as massive hemorrhage. Intestinal ulcers are mostly seen in the terminal ileum and cecum and may be complicated with perforation. Herein, we report two cases with intestinal Behçet's disease, one of which was diagnosed as Behçet's disease while under investigation for the etiology of intestinal disease.
