Kayaboğazı Hidroelektrik Santralindeki Türbinlerin Bulanık Mantık ve PLC İle Optimal İşletimi / Optimal Operation of Turbines in Kayaboğazı Hydroelectric Power Plant by Using Fuzzy Logic and PLC

Özet Bu çalışmada Kütahya İli Tavşanlı İlçesinde bulunan ve genellikle sulama amaçlı kullanılan Kayaboğazı Barajı'ndan elektrik enerjisi üretimi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla kurulması düşünülen küçük ölçekli hidroelektrik santral (KÖHES) türbinlerinin işletilmesi bulanık mantık (BM) ve programlanabilir mantık denetleyici (PLC) kullanılarak yapılacaktır. Bu amaçla Devlet Su İşleri (DSİ) tarafından elde edilen geçmiş yıllara ait su verileri dikkate alınarak, su rejiminin mevsimsel olarak farklılık göstermesinden dolayı, farklı güçlerde üç adet Francis türbininin kurulması planlanmıştır. Sistemde türbinlere verilecek olan su miktarı ve türbinlerin kontrolü ise PLC ile yapılacaktır. Bu uygulama ile Kayaboğazı Barajı'nın insansız ve uzaktan uygun bir şekilde işletilmesi ile tarımsal sulamanın yanı sıra güvenilir bir yenilenebilir enerji kaynağı olarak ülke ekonomisine de katkısı sağlanacaktır.Abstract In this study electric power generation from the Kayaboğazı dam which is located in the town of Tavşanlı, Kütahya and mainly used for irrigation and flood control purposes is investigated. For this purpose the control and operation of the projected small-scale hydro-electric power station will be achieved by using fuzzy logic (FL) control and programmable logic controller (PLC). Hence by evaluating the water flow data recorded by the Turkish Water Works (DSI), and considering the seasonal variations in water flow to the dam, installment of three Francis turbines with different power outputs has been planned. The amount of water flow to the turbines and their operation will be controlled by the PLCs. With this implementation, apart from irrigating the agricultural fields of the local area; the Kayaboğazı Dam will serve as a reliable and renewable source and contribute to the economy of the country as a whole.
