TÜRKİYE’DE ELEKTRİK ÜRETİMİ İÇİN KULLANILAN PETROL TÜKETİMİ, YENİLENEBİLİR ENERJİ KULLANIMI İLE İKTİSADİ BÜYÜME ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİLERİN ANALİZİ
Bu çalışmanın amacı 1985-2017 yılları arası Türkiye’de elektrik üretiminde kullanılan petrol tüketimi, yenilenebilir enerji kullanımı ve iktisadi büyüme arasındaki ilişkileri analiz etmektir. Değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler Johansen eşbütünleşme ve Granger nedensellik testleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analizlerde değişkenlerde tespit edilen yapısal kırılmaların da dâhil edildiği analizler neticesinde değişkenler arasında eşbütünleşme ilişkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Nedensellik ve etki tepki test sonuçlarına göre iktisadi büyüme petrol tüketimini, petrol tüketimi ise iktisadi büyümeyi negatif yönde etkilemektedir. Ayrıca yenilenebilir enerji kullanımı iktisadi büyümeyi pozitif yönde etkilerken,petrol tüketimini negatif yönde etkilemektedir.
