Bu çalışmada; dört ticari makarnalık buğday {T.durum Desf.) çeşidi ile yabani ceteaploid buğday (T.dicoccoides Kom.) arasında oluşturulan melezlerden tanede yüksek protein oranına sahip genotipleri geliştirme olanaklarını belirlemek amacıyla F1 ve F2 generasyonlannda genotipik varyabüite ve heterosis düzeyleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmadan sağlanan bulgular durum genotipleri ile T.dicoccoides arasındaki melezlerden oluşan populasyonda tanede protein oranı bakımından Geniş bir geııotipik değişkenliğin bulunduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Melezlerin F2 generasyonuadaki negatif heterosis nedeniyle yüksek protein oranına sahip hatların geliştirilebilmesi için çok sayıda bitki ile çalışılması gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

Genotypic variability and heterosis for grain protein content in crosses between durum wheat (T.durum Desf.) and wild tetraploid wheat (T.dicoccodies Korn.)

In this research, the genotypic variability and heterosis were studied in F1 and F2 generations of crosses between four durum cultivars (T.durum Desf.) and wild tutiaploid wheat (T.dicoccoides Korn) in order to determine the possibilities to develop the lines with high grain protein content. The results from this study implied that a large genotypic variability for grain protein content existed in population composed of crosses between durum cultivars and T.dicoccoides. It was concluded that it should be worked on a large quantitities of plants to develop the lines with high protein content because of the negative heterosis expressed in F2 generations of all crosses.
