Kenafta sap kuru madde verimi ve verim komponentlerine azot ve potasyumun etkilerinin incelendiği bu araştırmada; potasyumun O ve 8 kg/da, azotun O, 8, 12, 16 ve 24 kg/da dozları kullanılmıştır. Deneme bulgularına göre; azot ve potasyum , bitki boyu, sap çapı ve sap kuru madde verimini artırmıştır. Ancak, azotun etkisi potasyuma kıyasla daha fazla olmuş ve incelenen özelliklerde en yüksek değerler 12 kg/da azot dozunda elde edilmiştir.

In this study which the effects of nitrogen and potassium doses on the stem dry matter yield and yield components were examined, 0 and 8 kg/da doses for N and 0, 8, 12, 16 and 24 kg/da doses for K2O were used in kenaf. Results from this experiment indicated that fertilization increased plant height, stem diameter, stem dry matter yield. However, the effects of nitrogen more affected to all traits in comparison with that of potassium and the highest values for traits studied were obtained in 12 kg/da N dose.
